The business was established in 1951 by our grandfather Kenneth Talbot Green - hence the name K T Green. At the young age of 21 our father, Chris, took over the business after Kenneth's sudden death. I joined the business in 2005 and Simon joined two year's later. Our 60th anniversary wouldn't be possible without our loyal team. It is uncommon for colleagues to have worked at K T Green for 20 years or more.
K T Green has held various franchises over the years including BMC, Honda and AlfaRomeo. We are one of the oldest Subaru and Isuzu dealers having held each franchise for over 25 years. Surprisingly we are one of the top five performing dealers in the country for Subaru with our competitors being based in highland, rural locations.
This year we have taken on the Chevrolet franchise. We have been looking for a franchise with the reliability and excellent engineering that is associated with Subaru but with a model range - including smaller city cars - that appeals to a wider range of customers.
